Our Story

Founded in 1926 in the home of a Lakewood resident, LUMC has made its home at 2443 Abrams Rd. for several decades. The present sanctuary was built in the early 1960s after a fire destroyed the original building. In 2003, we opened our Family Life Center, where we host small groups and local organizations, including AA, Kindermusik, and Acton Academy Lakewood. Come visit us on a Sunday morning at 10:30 and experience spiritual and neighborly love.
