Advent, a season of preparation for the birth of Jesus, is a holy time in the Christian tradition. We are offering several events as we navigate this season together.

Hanging of the Greens - Sunday, November 26 after lunch

On November 26, we will hold a lunch after worship and then stay to decorate the building for Christmas! We need all hands on deck to hang ornaments and greenery. This is always a fun time of fellowship for us! If you plan to attend lunch, please RSVP to the church office.

Advent Study - Tuesday evenings beginning on November 28

Our Advent Study will meet at 6:30 p.m. in the Harmony Classroom (upstairs) on Tuesdays from November 28 through December 19. We will follow Heaven and Earth: Advent and the Incarnation by Will Willimon. You can order a copy from the church office for $14 or purchase the book online.

Advent Workshop - Sunday, December 3, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Kids of all ages are invited to our Fellowship Hall to spend some time together getting ready for the Christmas season! Join us for activities and crafts as we journey through the themes of the Advent season.

Christmas Cantata - Sunday, December 17, 10:30 a.m.

Our worship service will feature our sanctuary choir performing "Christmas Canticles" by Benjamin Harlan, accompanied by a chamber orchestra.

Be sure to stop by the Museum of Biblical Arts at 2:30 p.m. that afternoon to hear the choir sing Christmas favorites in the atrium!

Cozy Christmas Eve Morning Worship - Sunday, December 24, 10:30 a.m.

Gather in our Fellowship Hall for bagels, coffee, and a casual worship service. Wear your favorite Christmas sweater or cozy attire! (Please note we will be unable to livestream this service.)

Candlelight Christmas Eve Worship - Sunday, December 24, 5:30 p.m.

We will celebrate Christmas Eve with a candlelight service at 5:30 p.m. Nursery care will be available.
